The Pitless Hanger Shot Blast Machine is a heavy-duty, high-performance surface cleaning system engineered for the removal of rust, scale, and sand from complex or delicate metal components. Unlike traditional pit-mounted systems, this no-foundation hanger type shot blasting machine requires zero civil work, making it ideal for manufacturers seeking fast installation and reduced setup costs. With its overhead monorail and oscillating hook system, the pitless hanger blast machine ensures complete 360° abrasive coverage.
Each model in the series features a robust monorail conveyor system, available with both manual and motorized hanger movement options. Components are advanced through the blast chamber via an indexed transport system, which moves the hangers in timed intervals. This arrangement enables simultaneous loading and unloading during operation, reducing idle time and improving throughput. The system ensures each hanger stops at two indexed positions within the blast zone, allowing thorough and uniform abrasive coverage — especially important for castings with complex geometries.
To ensure operator safety and process integrity, the series incorporates a hydro-pneumatic door system that is fully interlocked with the blasting cycle. The doors remain securely closed during operation and only open after the cycle is complete and the blast wheels have come to a stop. Similarly, the blasting sequence will not initiate until the doors are fully closed, ensuring operational safety at all times.
The blast chambers across the series are internally lined with high-manganese rolled steel plates, which provide excellent resistance to wear from continuous abrasive impact. This enhances the structural longevity of the machine, minimizes maintenance frequency, and delivers reliable performance over long operational cycles.
With a modular design approach and multiple configurations available, the Pitless Hanger Type Shot Blasting Machine Series offers a scalable and customizable solution for diverse surface treatment requirements — all without the need for a foundation pit, allowing faster installation and easier relocation if required.
