V-Plough

SSEC Manufacture V–Ploughs to divert the sand from the running conveyor to the required points. The construction of V- Plough is very simple, rigid & dependable in modern engineering practice. V- Plough consists of skid plate, skirt board, side discharge chute and pneumatic operating system. In ideal position the arm (skirt board) of the plough is kept upwards. By operating the Pneumatic system the arm will be brought down and it will be made to contact with the conveyor belt. By this time, the skid plate which is kept between the bottom of the belt and runway unit will guide and avoid the belt to bend downwards. By this effect the sand will automatically get delivered from belt.
